Larissa Tomassetti - "Schwebezustand"

The amorphous form of the hunched ghost symbolises the fragility and transience of their own existence. The peaceful serenity of nature is overcome by the premonition of transience, death. The Austrian artist Larissa Tomassetti also addressed the mirroring as a reflection of the inner state of insecurity in her analogue photographs entitled "Schwebezustand".

Floating alive or dead in the water is closer than you think. That is the essential message of this installation in public space. (LT)
